Dallas Charles “Charlie” Farmer, Jr., 76, of Louisville, entered into rest on Monday, May 14, 2012, at the VA Medical Center.



He was a native of Fairdale. Mr. Farmer was a retired manager of customer service at Sears. Through the years, he had also been a grocery store manager and real estate agent. Mr. Farmer was a former member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran.

Dallas Charles “Charlie” Farmer, Jr., 76, of Louisville, entered into rest on Monday, May 14, 2012, at the VA Medical Center.



He was a native of Fairdale. Mr. Farmer was a retired manager of customer service at Sears. Through the years, he had also been a grocery store manager and real estate agent. Mr. Farmer was a former member of Lynnhurst United Church of Christ. He was an Army veteran.



Charlie was a loving husband to his wife of 54 years, Nancie Farmer; beloved father to Pamela Farmer and Joseph Ryan Farmer; grandfather to Michael Ryan and Nicolas Eli Farmer (both of Harrison, NY); brother to, Allen W., J.D. and Howard Cook Farmer and is survived by a host of friends and relatives.



Mr. Farmer’s memorial service will be on Thursday at 12 noon at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 8519 Preston Highway. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4pm until 7pm.
